Remote Learning
While your child is at home they are still learning! Talking to your child and singing with them are simple and easy ways to develop your child's language and communication, for example.
Counting stairs or sorting socks help their mathematical skills.
Making a healthy snack together or helping them clean their teeth help children learn to keep themselves safe and healthy.
Using Technology to Support Home Learning
You should be mindful to ensure your child does not have too much screen time (no more than 1 hour each day for 2-5 year olds). However, technology plays an important part in home learning and there are a number of DfE endorsed web links you may find useful:
Tapestry Online Journal
Log in to your online journal to access daily activities, challenges and communications from your child's Key Person whilst your child is at home. Contact nursery if you need support.
